- Take U.S. Hwy 75 South out of Tulsa.
- Continue south for 9 miles past Glenpool/State Hwy 67.
- Turn right (west) at W. 241st St. S. The Duck Creek Indian Smoke
Shop is directly east of 241st making a good identification point.
- Travel west on 241st (The are lots of potholes so go slow).
At 3 miles you will cross Alt U.S. Hwy 75.
- Continue west on 241st (gravel road). At 3½ miles from
Alt U.S. Hwy 75 the road will begin to curve to the right (north) as it
climbs a hill.
- After ½ mile the road will become paved.
- Continue 1 mile further to the end of the road.
- If the gate (middle of 3) on the blacktop road is locked, the
observatory is not open to the public or staffed, otherwise continue
through the gate and up the hill to the observatory.
